   Sometime you just want to have fun using something different. Loaded with a 22LR shot shell and you have an effective pest control piece.

   My first was .410 to .22 and works great. This one is 12 gauge to .22 I bought it to shoot rat shot so I would not need to mess up the rifling's in my .22 rifles.

   Finally got to the range today with my 22 adapter. What fun it is! Drew a few stares from fellow shooters, and everyone wanted to give it a try. I’m using it in a single shot break open 12ga.
   The unit is very high quality, machining is excellent and it has been 100% reliable.
   
   I am working on the sighting in of this combo, I am limited to a traditional gold bead front sight for now. It is a bit of guesstimating at the moment ( no fault of the adapter) I am going to add a rear sight when I get a suitable one.
   
   My only comment is that my gun has an ejector so I have to keep my hand over the action when I break it open or it will eject the adapter ! Ask me how I know this, LOL. I know on some shotguns you can turn this feature off and shells would then extract not eject. Unfortunately mine does not have that option. So I just keep mindful of this, again no fault of the adapter.
   
   I also have the .38 special adapter, which I also enjoy very much.
