   I fired numerous rounds through this insert and experience no misfires. It is well made with perfect tolerances.

6. 8" Pathfinder .38 Special - Superb

   This .38 Special 8" Pathfinder is my 2nd, 8" adapter. This .38 Special, 8" Pathfinder, just like my .45 Colt 8" Pathfinder, shoots "cloverleafs" at 25 yards! Testing was over sand bags at the bench. I'll be trying 50 yards next! I'm using a old Stevens 12 gauge, break-action, single shot. I did add a Williams WGRS REAR APERTURE SIGHT, and a Lyman Ramp Base, up front. Sights help greatly for obtaining the best possible results.
   I hope that newer adapters will be added. I would like a 8" Pathfinder in .44 Special, and a 8" Pathfinder in .32 S&W Long.

7. Exactly what I wanted, accurate at 25 yards

   I wanted a companion to my .38 special revolvers, and quickly realized that I would be out $400-$800 for a rifle in this caliber.
   
   I enjoy the drop in .22 insert I have for my single shot 12g, so I decided to give the .38 adapter a try and see if this was a good match for what I was looking for.
   
   I couldn't have spent my $100 better, it's a ton of fun to shoot and pretty good accuracy at 25y. Haven't taken it further than that but it's well within what I needed it for. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in shooting some .38 special from the shoulder, tons of fun! Thanks!
